Privacy Policy

This is the shortest honest privacy policy we could write: futurecost.ai collects no personal information about you. Not your email, not your name, not your location, not anything else.

The short version: No accounts. No cookies we set. No analytics. No tracking. No email list. No affiliate links. No third-party data sharing. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing leaves it.

Who we are

futurecost.ai is published by Wieneke Legal, LLC, an Alabama law firm. The tool exists as part of our AI governance portfolio — we build and govern real AI systems in order to advise on them credibly.

What we collect

Nothing. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter, the results you see, and the share card you generate all stay on your device. None of it is transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone.

Specifically:

What we share

Nothing, because we have nothing to share.

Requests for your data — ours or anyone else's

We have no data about you, so we have nothing to produce in response to a subpoena, court order, government request, or any other legal process. Any request for user data directed at us will be met with a simple statement of fact: we do not collect, store, or have access to user data from this tool.

The site is hosted on third-party infrastructure (see "Infrastructure" below). Those providers may have their own minimal operational logs (for example, IP addresses in server access logs). We do not access or use that data, but we cannot prevent its existence or its lawful compelled production by the provider.

Infrastructure

futurecost.ai is a static website served from commercial hosting infrastructure. The hosting provider may maintain standard server access logs for operational and security purposes. These logs are outside our direct control and outside the scope of this policy. They do not contain any information you enter into the calculator.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, on desktop, loads a QR code image from Google's charting service or a fallback QR generator. These requests are made by your browser directly to those providers and are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not receive any data from those requests.

Children's privacy

futurecost.ai is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect any information from anyone, we do not collect information from children. This policy is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

California, EEA, and other jurisdictions

Privacy laws like the CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and various state comprehensive privacy statutes give users rights regarding their personal information — the right to access it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing.

We honor those rights by design: there is no personal information to access, correct, delete, or opt out of. If you believe we are processing personal information about you despite the commitments above, contact us at the address below and we will investigate.

Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change — if we ever begin collecting any personal information, setting cookies, running analytics, accepting affiliate compensation, or sharing data with third parties — this policy will be updated before any such change takes effect, and the changes will be conspicuously noted at the top of the page.

Because the commitments above are absolute rather than hedged, any future change will be a visible, deliberate decision on our part rather than a quiet expansion of existing practice.
